Oil companies roll back fuel prices



                The oil firms will again cut the prices following the movement from the global market.
                On an advisory, the Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. said that effective by 6 a.m. they will reduced the gasoline price by ₱0.70 per litre, ₱0.50 per litre on diesel and ₱0.55 per litre on kerosene.
                On the same prices, the SeaOil Philippines and the Petron Corp. will cut the prices effectively on 12 a.m.
                The Eastern Petroleum will also reduce the diesel by ₱0.50 per litre and gasoline prices by ₱0.70 per litre.
                As for Phoenix Petroleum Philippines and PTT Philippines also will reduce the same prices by ₱0.50 per litre on diesel and ₱0.70 per litre on gasoline effective by 6 a.m.
                According to Department of Energy Secretary Zenaida Monsada the price adjustment is due to the oversupply of oil in the market.
