After resting for a month and missed several campaigns, Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago is now back to campaign as she and her running mate for VP position, Senator Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos attended a candidate forum held at UP Iloilo, yesterday, April 13.
On the forum, Santiago announced that the anti-cancer medicine that she’s taking is working and now she’s ready to expose her rivals ‘who are not qualified to run as President’.
“What right do they have to run?” she said referring to their competence in a presidential debate.
Known because of her wit, the senator also challenged her opponents to take the UP entrance exam and IQ tests to determine their competence and to know if they are qualified to run.
When the senator was asked about her low ranking in surveys, she said people nowadays no longer believes on surveys.
There are also circumstances, she added, that her name wasn’t listed on the survey forms.
Contrast to the survey, according to Marcos, Santiago has a strong support among the youth.
