PNP halts 11, 405 drug suspects



Almost 11, 405 drug suspects were arrested by the Philippine National Police (PNP) from the month of January to March.
                According to PNP Directorate for Investigation and Detective Management, 11 of them were suspected drug traffickers.
                The most number of arrests were from CALABARZON police with 2,685 and a total of confiscated illegal drugs with an estimated value of ₱83.9 million. The second highest were from the Metro Manila police with 1, 458 suspects with ₱636.6 million of confiscated illegal drugs.
 The suspects were cornered on PNP checkpoints, raids and based on warrant of arrest that was issued by the court.

                                In total, the PNP’s anti-illegal drugs confiscated an estimated value of ₱690,988,500.
