There will be no power outages will occur during the elections in Luzon and Visayas according to Department of Energy (DOE).
All of the power plants that were on scheduled maintenance already started operating again DOE Secretay Zenaida Monsada.
She also added on the briefing yesterday that the power outlook in Luzon and Visayas are in good condition except in Mindanao in which the power supply is limited.
There is a big possibility of rotating blackouts in some parts of Mindanao but Monsada ensure that there will be a sufficient supply on precinct to avoid interruption on polls.
“For Mindanao, some areas may experience rotating blackouts, but we are ensuring that voting centers will have electricity until the end of the election period,”  Monsada said.
